【アストロマンティック】
アストロマンティックとは
Astro（宇宙）へのRomantic（憧れ）を意味する。
土の持つ豊かな表情、釉薬の透明感、金属の煌めき
“素材それぞれが持つ美しさ”に導かれ、
気づけば宇宙の天体や魅惑的な現象をモチーフに
「誰も見たことがない器」
を創作するようになっていた。
既成概念に囚われない
自由な発想とブレイクスルーによって、
見たこともない景色に出逢える。
未知の世界、未開拓の領域へ
踏み込んでいく興奮に憑りつかれてしまう。
星の数ほども失敗するが、
失敗はそれだけ上手くいかない理由を教えてくれる。
すべて土が教えてくれる。
土に触れ、フォルムを描き、創作にロマンスを馳せる。
炎の洗礼を受け、私の目の前に現れる器たちは、
未知の可能性と美しさに溢れている。
まるで想い焦がれた恋人に
出逢うことができたかのよう。
しかし、この人の先に未だ見ぬもっと素敵な人がいる、
どうしてもその人に近づきたい、逢いたい。
そんな気持ちにさせてくれる。
AstRomantic
AstRomantic is a coined word which comes from Astro and Romantic.
Mystery of Soil, Purity of the Glaze, Glitter of Gold …
Not knowing what I truly wanted to express on ceramics
but I was really inspired by the mysterious natural beauty
of the soil on the earth and the milky way,
I have started creating the only one which nobody has never seen before.
Freeing from constrained concept and having been broken though fixed concept,
I could meet the new world.
I was captured by the excitement of stepping into the unexplored world.
I was neither from potter’s family nor had a master of pottery.
Making stars of mistakes tells me the reasons of the mistakes.
Clay tells me everything.
Touching clay and imagining the form, sending my heart into creation romantically.
After having been baptized of flame,
the ceramic wares seem to have the call of unknown potential and beauty.
As if I were to meet the love whom I’ve longed for.
I can’t stop seeking and thinking of unseen ideal one whom I have never seen.
It’s the magic of creation. |
Ceramic Artist
流行の最先端、表参道（東京）に
スタジオを構える異色の陶芸家。
独自の世界観を器づくりに置き換えることにより、
「誰も見たことが無い器」を生み出し続けている。
Taku Nakano is the unique ceramist running pottery classes
and his studio placed in Omotesando Tokyo where it’s known for the epicenter of fashion.
His artistic view of the world has been put into his creations
and he has been making the ceramics which nobody has never seen before. |

「壮大な宇宙」で起こる魅惑的な事象や
天体をモチーフに、陶芸界では稀有な材料
（純金、プラチナ、チタン、他）や技法
（彩泥、ラスター、裂、他）を独自の感性と技術で
器に昇華させている。
量産を嫌い一切の型を使わず
「全て一点もの」を自らの手だけで作り出している。
He has sublimated his characteristic sense and techniques using rare materials, colored slips, luster and RETSU with motifs of mysterious universe and planets into his creations. Every single pieces of his creation has its originalities since he opposes mass production. |
また、異色の経歴の持ち主。
窯元の出身でもなく陶芸家の弟子でもない、
「体育会出身のサラリーマン」が転勤先で
陶芸に出逢い、独学で創作活動。
36歳で陶芸家に転身した。
He has a rare personal history.Nevertheless, he isn’t neither from potter’s family nor had a master of pottery, he was inspired by the pottery in Shizuoka where he was transferred when he was an office worker and has started his creative activities on self-taught. He has started his life as a potter at the age of 36 |

伝統や格式に囚われすぎない、
柔軟な発想と確かな技術、豊富な知識、
それらを融合する独自のセンスは
多くの陶芸を学ぶ人から支持され、
これまで二千人以上の生徒、芸能人や要人など、
多くの著名人への陶芸指導を担ってきた。
His unlimited style that is not bound by tradition and formality, flexible imagination, and established technique have been supported by more than two thousand people including celebrities. |
現在は陶芸の指導から離れ、
「やきもの作りで社会貢献すること」を
自らの使命と考え、独創性の高い創作活動を展開し、
恵まれない子供達を支援するなど、
チャリティーのためのワークショップを開催している。
He believes that social contribution through ceramics is his mission. Therefore he has been doing the charity workshops to support needy children rather than doing pottery classes. |

壮大な宙に
魅せられて
Infatuated by the Universe

故郷、淡路島の夜空を彩る「満天の星」。
物心ついて初めて見上げた夜空には、
信じられないほど多くの星達が瞬いていた。
息を飲むほどの絶景に驚き、何故
今まで気付かなかったのかと不思議に思った。
遠すぎて見えなかったのか、いや、身近すぎて
気付かなかったのだ。
数千万年かかって届く星々の光を見つめていると、
生まれてくる前の記憶が蘇ってくるよう。
銀河の美しさ、流れ星の輝き、月の神秘さ、
いつしか、宙の魅力に引き込まれていった。
私達は宇宙の「黄金時代」に生きている。
宙に輝く恒星は水素をエネルギーにした
核融合反応で燃えている。
途方もなく莫大な量の水素が宇宙にあるが、
数兆年後には水素を使い果たし、
一つずつ恒星が姿を消していく。
やがて宇宙中にある水素を使い果たしたとき、
暗黒の宇宙へと変わってしまうだろう。
まさに今は、数兆年と云われる
想像もつかぬほど長い宇宙の歴史の中での
「星の黄金時代」。
この時代に私たちが存在できたことは
奇跡と言っていいのではないだろうか。
In the sky of my home town, AWAJISHIMA was filled with fascinated stars. One day I happened to look up the sky. Up there I have found unbelievable number of shinning stars. Nor knowing the existence of beautiful cosmos, I was fascinated and it made me hold my breath wondering. Being so close made me ignorant to realize them. Looking up the glittering stars whose radiance has taken ten millions of years to reach here made me feel as if my memory of the previous life were resurrected. Not knowing when, I was infatuated by the beauty of the galaxy, sparkling shooting stars and mysterious moon.
We are living in the golden age of the universe. Every single star glitter by the reaction of nuclear fusion based on the hydrogen. No matter how much hydrogen there is at the moment, in trillion years later the stars will vanish one by one due to the lack of hydrogen. Galaxy must turn into the dark universe when it has been used up. Certainly we have been living in the golden years of cosmos among the unimaginable history of the universe. It is not too much to say that our existence is a miracle in this period.

大型の恒星がその一生を終える時に起こす大爆発。
途方もないエネルギーとその波動は、様々な元素を生成し
宇宙中にまき散らす。
元素は大量のガスや塵となって宇宙空間に放出され、
長い年月を経て再び集まることにより、天体や惑星を作る。
ハッブル宇宙望遠鏡の登場など観測技術の進歩により、
多くの超新星が見つかっている。
ハッブルが作る、可視光線以外の目に見えない光線に、
波長ごとに色を与え可視化した幻想的な姿は、
私たちを驚かせている。
Supernova
The enormous explosion the huge planet means the end of its life. Its tremendous
energy and its wave produce various kinds of elements and they are scattered
over the space. The scattered elements have taken for a long time to regather
and reform some heavenly bodies and planets.
Many supernovas have been found with the Hubble Space Telescope which has been developed with advanced technology and space observation technology. The fantastic ray made by Hubble that each waves among the invisible radiation was given colour and transform into visible ray, has made us impressed. |
超新星の贈り物
The Gift from Supernova
金、プラチナ、銀、など希少金属元素は
スーパーノヴァ（超新星爆発）でしか生まれない。
また、私達生命を構成する炭素やアミノ酸も
スーパーノヴァの元素生成が起源だ。
The rare elements of metals like gold, platinum and silver can only be produced by the explosion of supernova. Carbon and amino acid that constitute our life were created by nucleosynthesis of supernova.

「星屑のこども」
“the children of stardust"
遥か銀河の彼方で起きている、
自分には関係ない現象と思っていた。
しかし、実は自分の身体を構成する基本元素は
超新星爆発でしか生み出されないものだということを知った。
遥か数兆年の昔、銀河系で起きたスーパーノヴァが
ガスや塵を生み、更に周囲で起こったスーパーノヴァが波動を生み、
太陽系を作った。
そして、その3つ目の惑星、地球の中で、それらの元素をもとに
私たちの祖先が生まれてきた。
すなわち、貴方も私も、みんな星屑のこどもなのだ。
Stardust
I have never given deep thought to what is happening in supernova. But I have realized that the elements which comprise my body can only be created by the explosions of supernova. Trillions of years ago, gas and dust were made from supernova in the milky way and when another supernova happened, waves were generated and they built up the solar system. And then, on the third planet, the earth, our ancestors were created from the elements. That is to say, all of us are “the children of stardust.”

太陽系

約46億年前、銀河系の片隅で超新星爆発が起こった。
途方もなく激しい衝撃波により、星間ガスや塵が集められて
星間分子雲が形成、原始太陽が生まれた。
その大きな重力により周囲の原始惑星も
衝突を繰り返しながら8個の惑星になった。
超新星爆発からわずか1000万年後の出来事。
私達にとって最も身近な星々が太陽系。
地球の衛星「月」や「太陽」、「明け・宵の明星、金星」など、
日常生活に馴染み深いものから、遥か彼方にある海王星まで、
その特徴をモチーフに器を創作した。

Solar System
About 4.6 billions of years ago, the supernova occurred in the edge of the universe. Interstellar gas and dust were gathered and were turned into interstellar molecular cloud by heavy blast waves, and then the primitive sun was born.
Well known eight planets were made by the repeated collision that had happened due to the enormous gravity impact at the proto-planets around the primitive sun. It has been only 10 million years since supernova had happened.
The solar system is the most familiar stars for us human being. I was inspired
by cosmos and have been creating wares not only based on the satellite
of the Earth such as “Moon,” “Sun” and “The morning / evening star Venus,”
but also a planet like “Neptune” which is located far away from us.

1967年、瀬戸内の淡路島（兵庫県洲本市）に生まれる
Taku Nakano was born in 1967 in Awaji-shima, Sumoto-city, Hyogo
学生時代はボート競技に打ち込みインターハイ、国体、全日本選手権で活躍する （オックスフォード盾杯金メダル、全日本新人選手権/全日本選手権銀メダル、他、受賞多数）
He was into Boat Rowing in his youth and was chosen as representative for Inter-High School Championships, Japan National Sports Festival and All Japan Rowing Championships.
Awards: Gold medal in The Oxford Rowing Cup of Japan, Silver medals in The National Sports Festival of Japan Freshman Cup, The National Sports Festival of Japan and more.
大学卒業と同時に現役引退し大手電子部品メーカーに就職、首都圏営業部へ勤務
After obtain BA, employed for the major Electronical manufacturing company in Tokyo.
静岡営業所への転勤を機に陶芸を始め、独学で創作活動
Transferred to Shizuoka Branch and started to create ceramic arts.
多数の陶芸コンクールに出品、美術年鑑にも掲載される
Applied to some ceramic contests and listed in The Art Annual.

勤務企業で営業職から広告宣伝職を経て社長直下のビジネスモデル構築プロジェクトへ。CRMプロジェクトを担当。
After worked as a sales staff, transferred to PR Department and became in charge of a business model building project / CRM project.
大手電子部品メーカーを退社し陶芸家へ転身
Resigned from the company and started his ceramics
2004年、千葉県市川市に陶芸工房彩泥窯を開窯
In 2004, opened the first pottery / studio SAIDEI-GAMA in Ichikawa-city, Chiba
2014年、表参道に東京本店を増床移転（表参道工房）
In 2014, relocated the pottery / studio to Omotesando, Tokyo
2017年8月、50歳を機に陶芸指導から引退、アーティスト活動再開
In Aug of 2017, at the age of fifty he retired from teaching pottery and restarted to create his own artworks
2017年、10月末に表参道で初の個展を開催
